ONU 2016 : des milliers d’appels pour en finir avec la guerre à la drogue

visuCPA quelques jours de l’UNGASS et à l’initiative de la Drug Policy Alliance, des milliers de personnalités gouvernementales, de la société civile et de la vie culturelle et artistique appellent à la fin de la guerre à la drogue, via une lettre à Mr Ban Ki-moon, secrétaire général de l’ONU. Elle exhorte les États à arrêter les politiques de répression désastreuses et à s’engager pour les droits humains : « Au 21e siècle, l’humanité mérite mieux qu’une politique drogues aussi inefficace et contre- productive que celle du siècle précédent. »

La France, via sa plateforme associative et en lien avec ses prises de position précédentes, fait partie des signataires. Bernie Sanders et Hillary Clinton viennent de la signer également, le jour du lancement de l’UNGASS.
